Internal Comms

The Administrative Council (AC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Communications Rep to join our National Management team in a part time voluntary capacity.  Reporting to the HR Director, you will be expected take charge of all internal Communications to our volunteers. You will need to have strong liaison and coordination skills to engage with our approx 400 volunteers across 25+ branches and three Training Sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take charge of establishing regular comms to our Volunteers, from inception through to delivery, advising on all aspects of the same and lisising across multiple teams to ensure delivery.
  • Recruit and lead a team of people to support if necessary.

Desired Experience and Skills:


  • Experience in similar type of role.
  • Excellent written english.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Passion for Cuidiú's mission and a desire to contribute to a non-paid voluntary organisation.

Note: This is a voluntary (unpaid) position within Cuidiú.  All Directors and members of the Administrative Council work on a voluntary basis to govern Cuidiú according to our constitution.  The AC meet on a monthly basis online and aim to meet in person twice yearly.  Typical contributions vary greatly but are between 2-3 hours per week.
