IT Operations Manager
The Administrative Council (AC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated IT Operations Manager to join our national management team in a part time voluntary capacity. Reporting to the IT Director, the IT Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving and implementing IT strategic rollouts that support Cuidiú's mission and goals.

IT Planning and Implementation:
- Collaborate with the IT Director to develop and execute IT strategic plans aligned with Cuidiú's mission and objectives.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes.
- Support and work with the Cuidiú’s management team (the Administrative Council/ AC) to help the organisation understand new IT developments and bring them along with long-term IT strategies.

Some key projects on the horizon include:
~ Transition onto Google Workspace.
~ Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
~ Website redesign and transition to new platform.
~ Source and Implementation of a new Membership System.
Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day IT operations, ensuring the efficient functioning of Cuidiú's technology infrastructure.
- Establish a voluntary IT team as needed and provide technical leadership and guidance to the same, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver training programs as necessary to enhance IT literacy among Cuidiú Volunteers.
- Monitor and enforce cybersecurity best practices to safeguard Cuidiú's digital assets and sensitive information.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and networking principles.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Experience in in selecting, implementing, and managing software applications and tools.
- Passion for Cuidiú's mission and a desire to contribute to a non-paid voluntary organisation.
Note: This is a voluntary (unpaid) position within Cuidiú. All Directors and members of the Administrative Council work on a voluntary basis to govern Cuidiú according to our constitution. The AC meet on a monthly basis online and aim to meet in person twice yearly. Typical contributions vary greatly but are between 2-3 hours per week.
